Robert Koncelik, JR.
President

For more than 20 years, Robert W. Koncelik, Jr. has been orchestrating relocations of some of the country's top companies. Heading up the marketing for Universal Moving & Storage, the company founded by his family in 1958, he has been responsible for expanding the firm's business in Manhattan and bringing its managed storage division into high-tech status.

With a background that includes years of on-the-job training and a Bachelor of Science in Transportation & Distribution Management from Syracuse University, Mr. Koncelik has helped revolutionize the family business. He has created a database system for his storage service that tracks and retrieves files instantly. Universal's clients can call for their stored files and receive delivery within 24 hours. Moreover, the storage units are constantly monitored, providing an extra measure of security.

Denis Marino
VP, Operations

People need to know what to do, where to go, and how to get there; Denis Marino is the person that makes this happen. His responsibilities have advanced in multiple directions since his time here. He is the director responsible for overseeing customer service, IT, sales, billing and accounting. Working closely with our project managers, warehouse manager and clients, he orchestrates a smooth workflow. Denis monitors and controls all operations within the warehouse and all personnel activities to ensure that all operations are completed quickly and efficiently.

Ron Sarubbi
CFO

Ron is responsible for the company’s economic strategies. He analyzes the past and current financial conditions to ensure constant growth and success. He is responsible for reporting historical financial information, and presenting this information in an accurate and timely manner. Ron is able to project a long-term financial picture which will drive the company in the right economic direction. With people like Ron on the team, Universal is going places.

Michael Maduri
Marketing/ Customer Service Coordinator

Handling all requests for storage and maintaining client relationships, Michael comes to work ready to learn about and satisfy customer’s needs. He gives our clients personalized attention and the comfort of knowing he’ll be there for them. Michael is the one to call when you have a question and the first one to help out in a situation.

Daniella Di Pompo
Bookkeeper/Coordinator

Daniella Di Pompo's role is an accumulation of many. Administrative duties, billing, bid assistance and data entry are just a few of the tasks she performs. She plays a key role in the daily functioning of office activities and constantly puts forth creative ideas into every facet of the company. She helps to create a pleasant atmosphere and works as a team player.

Gabriel Serrano

Warehouse management is not an easy task, as there is a constant flow of customer belongings and equipment coming and going. Everything that comes through our doors, whether it is a small box or a desk, must be handled with care and placed so it can easily be found when requested. Gabriel Serrano is Universal’s key to an organized, neatly kept warehouse space. His skills help keep the storage facility in great condition. Known as the “quartermaster”, he also manages all equipment used for our move projects.

Michael Peluso
Project Manager

As project manager, Mike executes work plans and assures it fits each projects’ specific needs. He ensures all documents relating to the job are accurate and he makes certain the customer is knowledgeable during all stages. Mike is always the first one to input his suggestions for effective changes, always to provide the customer with the comfort of knowing everything is taken care of. Mike has handled projects including Mitsubishi, IBM, NYC Board of Elections, NYPD and FDNY.

Frank Patinelli
Managing Director of Business Development

As managing director of business development, Frank develops and manages new opportunities within the marketplace. He coordinates all marketing and public relations. Frank manages our sales department to ensure they meet and exceed team goals. Frank is also responsible for the coordination of client outreach. With many years of experience in developing new business, Universal will continue to grow and expand their clientel with Frank leading the way.
